NATROX® O₂ Featured at International Scientific Conference

NATROX® Oxygen Wound Therapy was featured in one of the virtual scientific sessions during the international conference “The Science of Healing Advanced Wound Care” organised by Wounds UK.

This successful virtual conference, held at the end of August, attracted over 1,000 international delegates with individual scientific presentations averaging well over 450 participants. Each session was led by an international healthcare professional.

NATROX® O₂ was part of a scientific session entitled “Wound hypoxia – a barrier to healing”, led by Dr. Windy Cole, Adjunct Professor and Director of Wound Care Research at Kent State University College of Podiatric Medicine, USA.

During her very informative session, Dr. Windy Cole discussed:

  • The role of oxygen in wound healing
  • The benefits of supplemental oxygen, including topical oxygen
  • How NATROX® has helped her deal with the challenge of proactive wound management during the COVID-19 pandemic.

If you are interested in further work featuring Dr. Cole, she was also a guest speaker in the first Podiatry Today podcast, in which she discusses the role of oxygen in wound healing and her clinical experience using NATROX® Oxygen Wound Therapy.
