Sales Associate, NYC

This position will work closely with the Account Manager in promoting NATROX® Wound Care (NWC) product(s) to qualified customers in the assigned territories and represent NWC product(s) exclusively. The Sales Associate will be selling NWC product line to clinical and medical customers across different calling points.

Position requires approximately 80% travel within the territory in the US.

Key Responsibilities

The following duties and responsibilities are representative of those to be performed by the person in this position. This is not intended to be an exhaustive list and may change from time to time. In addition, other duties may be assigned as needed.

  • Establish and maintain relationships with physicians/clinicians and customers in post- acute communities, wound care clinics, outpatient clinics, and home care opportunities
  • Administer Supply Orders as required following NATROX Wound Care processes and procedures for order entry between NATROX/DME & Account Manager as outlined by management
  • Conduct initial NATROX® O₂ system placements on new patients and educate physicians/clinicians and clinical staff as directed
  • Target, prospect and cold call new small accounts, per direction of Sales Leadership and based on data
  • Connect with contacts at all levels and with all groups which might influence current and future buying decisions
  • Perform administrative work to enable order and reimbursement process (collect progress notes from physicians for monthly re-auth and re-supply orders)
  • Pick up new patient information from Physician facilities
  • Create RX and LMN, obtain signature, submit to DME
  • Structure time & territory management techniques to optimize customer facing opportunities
  • Deliver upon defined customers metrics (visits, calls, frequency)
  • Pre-plan and implement sales calls: review background information, set call objectives, define sales strategy, including available salesforces tools/CRM/engage bay and other information
  • Ability to independently manage tasks and set priorities
  • Input/update objectives and sales data regularly (on CRM, ERP, Engage Bay etc.,.)
  • Collaborate with customers including problem-solving, product assistance, product satisfaction, including technical advice on the use of products, delivery considerations, quality control, training and placement support –
  • Promptly follow procedures for product or service complaints
  • Maintain highest degree of product knowledge through continuous learning, including quality, features, benefits, proof sources, customer applications, quality and competitive advantages
  • Represent our product(s) at trade shows, conferences and meetings; prepare associated reports and attend local or regional meetings as assigned

Skills and qualifications required

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

  • Bachelor’s degree (B.S./B. A.), minimum of 1 year related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience as well as proven success in presenting new products using effective sales processes and tools. Wound care sales experience and vendor credentialing where required.
  • This position requires strong customer facing/service skills, sales & business acumen, interpersonal skills and excellent English communication and presentation skills. Established proven relationships with customers & their health care team is needed.
  • Previous experience of working to deadlines with a strong sense of urgency; understanding wound care & industry influencers; excellent organizational and time management skills; demonstrated presentation expertise in diverse settings; strong team player with excellent communication skills both written and oral.
  • The role requires a maintained a valid Driver’s license and current automobile insurance.
